                   മൊഴിമാറ്റംബിജുരാജ്
രണ്ട് ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കന്‍ കവിതകള്‍ 


ക്‍ജഫില ഒയ മഗോഗോഡി

ഓടുന്ന ഭക്ഷണം

മുത്തശ്ശി പറയുമായിരുന്നു
ഓടുമ്പോള്‍ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കരുതെന്ന്.
പക്ഷേ ഈ ദിനങ്ങളില്‍ പാത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്
കാലുകള്‍ മുളച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു
ഭക്ഷണം ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
ആവശ്യക്കാരനില്‍ നിന്ന്
അത്യാഗ്രഹിയിലേക്ക്.

അരങ്ങ്

ദൈവം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു
ഇവിടെ.
ഓടിയകന്നു.
കവി അരങ്ങിലേക്ക്
വന്നപ്പോള്‍.

ക്‍ജഫില ഒയ മഗോഗോഡി 1968 ല്‍ ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ജൊഹെന്നസ് ബര്‍ഗില്‍ ജനിച്ചു.ജാസ് സംഗീതകാരന്‍,കവി,നാടക സംവിധായകന്‍,അധ്യാപകന്‍,എന്നീ നിലകളില്‍ പ്രശസ്തന്‍.വിറ്റ്വാട്ടേഴ്സ് സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡ് സര്‍വകലാശാലയില്‍ അധ്യാപകനാണ്.രാജ്യാന്തര ഷോകളില്‍ നാടകവും സംഗീതവും അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.‘ദ കോണ്ടം കം’,‘ഔട്ട് സ്പോക്കണ്‍’,‘ഐ മൈക്ക് വാട്ട് ഐ ലൈക്ക്’ എന്നിവയാണ് കൃതികള്‍.

    Good Morning!
    Translation is a great work!I liked the first poem and the lines are so touching.
    In India,we pray before taking food.We are supposed to keep silence while having food.Respcet food.Before having food,my Achamma used to feed the crows.I still remember the valuable lesson taught by my Achan;tear drop should not fall into food.
    Enjoy and share food.
    Thanks for introducing us to a new writer's poems.
    God is everywhere.It's my strong belief.
